Brief of institution

China-Africa Chamber of Industry and Commerce was advocated by CCPIT and the Federation of Africa Chamber of Industry and Commerce (namely the Federation of Africa Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Agriculture and Service Industry) and established at the China-Africa Forum in November 2006. The aim is to create and develop a comprehensive framework for business circles of China and Africa to carry out cooperation in trade, investment, technical transfer, service and industry, etc., so as to propel the commercial activities between China and Africa. Wuhan Liaison Office of China-Africa Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the 1st ever branch office in a local city in China was ratified into being by CCPIT.

Function of institution

The liaison office will implement the strategy of "Central Emergence" boosted by the Central Government; at the same time, rely on Wuhan to radiate to other parts in Central China; provide a series of professional coordinating services to Chinese enterprises that intend to invest and do business in Africa, help them seize the current optimal opportunity for economic and trade development between China and Africa, take advantage of various preferential policies and the platform of China and African economic and trade cooperation, actively explore the African market. The founding of the Office will bring great facilitation to enterprises in Wuhan and other places in Central China in exploring African market, and bring the rare opportunity for sustainable economic and trade development between China and Africa. Currently, the services provided by the office mainly include:
- Providing economic information, policies, laws and regulations and suchlike of concerned African states;
- Collecting latest information of China-Africa cooperation projects, arranging pertinent negotiation
- Providing the report on African market research
- Providing the investigation and assessment report on credit of the African cooperative partner
- Professional legal service related with Africa
- Documents certification relevant to Africa
- Business trip service to Africa
- Translation service
- Credit insurance service
- Investment and financing service
- Average adjustment service
